Hello!

I'm Daisy (she/her/hers) and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #130944) based in Orange County, California. I care deeply about providing a warm and safe space for the unraveling moments in life and providing presence and insight on your path to healing.

The journey to your inner world is one that is worth being accompanied. Embarking on this new process can be overwhelming and scary. It is important to me that you find the right therapist for you who can guide you through the difficult moments of your process.

I specialize in working with individuals navigating issues such as:

  • Complex trauma and PTSD
  • Life transitions
  • Anxiety and panic disorder
  • Depression
  • Co-dependency and boundary issues
  • Low self-esteem
  • Racial and ethnic identity, difficult family of origin dynamics
  • Asian-American intergenerational trauma
  • Relationships/marriage issues
  • Burn out and dissatisfaction with career/work
  • Overcoming grief and loss from loved one
  • Spiritual abuse

I have an eclectic approach to therapy and utilize modalities such as:

  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Internal Family Systems
  • Trauma focused Cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT)
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
  • Psychodynamic
  • Attachment-based
  • Culturally sensitive

I am trained in CBT and trauma-focused approaches to help you work through difficult cognitions that affect your day-to-day decision making and interactions with others. I value uncovering the thoughts and experiences that keep you from engaging in your present life to the fullest. I work from both an attachment theory model and family systems approach to explore your upbringing and patterns of relating. I emphasize exploring your past to help discover roots of distorted cognitions and help change unhealthy cycles and patterns. I also utilize internal family systems approach to help understand and empower the different parts of the individual towards healing. In therapy, we will navigate the issues together towards positive change.

Some other special therapies I offer are assisting those who have experienced faith-related issues or spiritual abuse/abuse in the workplace. I also work with couples as a Prepare/Enrich certified therapist to provide premarital & marital counseling or help you through any relationship struggles.

As a Korean-American therapist, I deeply care about creating a safe place in my clinical work to explore issues surrounding culture and diversity for each individual to understand intergenerational family patterns. I specialize in working with immigrant families and people of color. My personal goal is to partner with you on your therapy journey by walking alongside you on your path to self discovery and healing.

When I am away from the office, I love brewing hand drip coffee, painting in nature, and spending quality time with my husband and children.
